Conclusion

This article will feature each new campsite when we try it out, to create a nice list here for many more enthusiasts of this style of traveling. Each campsite has been the gateway to some trail through the mountains of Romania or, in very rare cases, we have stayed and relaxed in a tent.

We love traveling like this and every year we add to our gear and look for more and more places to camp. But by far, my favorite and most beautiful place is the Plaiul Foii campsite for the scenery in the morning at the coffee, but also all day long, for the sky so full of stars and for the perfect peace and quiet I always felt there.
