Welcome to the space I created for my travels and adventures!
I'm glad I've made you at least a little curious to read me and I hope you'll find here both inspiration for your future itineraries and help from me for the places you already have on your list.
Like you most likely, I also have a full-time job and only the 21 days off, but I try as much as I can to use all the public holidays to see this big wide world. The passion has come from home, from the small town Fetești, from my parents, who managed in the early 2000s to show us (to me and my sister) a small part of this world.
From them I have learned to enjoy the place I arrive in as much as possible, to embrace the new culture I encounter, to try different foods and to appreciate the time spent in nature
Nowadays, it is a rare thing if a full weekend finds me at home. 😋
Now, being two on this life journey, we have found that we love discovering the world just as much, being travelers rather than tourists. For the past 3 years, we manage to go somewhere out of the country 7-8 times a year, but we don't forget about Romania either. We discovered a common passion in 2017, namely mountain hiking, and thanks to it, we've found places in Romania that we rarely see advertised: authentic, full of traditions and with breathtaking landscapes.
During the 2020 pandemic, it came another style of traveling, and that is camping. Travelling this way, we found a tent-friendly Romania, a huge community of people passionate about tent life, and the coffee drunk with the view of Piatra Craiului is one of the best in the world!
In this small space, which I hope to grow a lot, you will find our itineraries, tips&tricks, routes followed and lists of campsites we have tried. Also, if you feel that you don't have the inspiration or the time to search for hotels, planes, activities for your vacation, leave me a message here. and I will be glad to help you!
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved having dreams and believing that one day they would come true, and one of my biggest dreams was to go to South Korea. 2024 was the year that my 15-year-old dream came true, and the moment I stepped onto the buzzing streets of huge Seoul, I knew that from now on, anything is possible! Someday I will reach Great Wall of China, to see the penguins in Antarctica, to hike on the glaciers of Patagonia and relax under the burning sun in French Polynesia. What are your biggest dreams?
